In need of some advice
Hey guys I'm in the process of doing a sr20det swap into my 92 s13 hatch done a fair share of reading up. So far I have ordered a few parts starting wit exhaust, koyo rad, oem water pump, nismo thermostat, walboro 255 fuel pump and a few miscellaneous goodys.
But now to my question what kinda of front mount intercooler kit/ hot pipe with a bov should i get? I am not trying to go pretty crazy with horsepower or anything like that so i dont think i have need to buy a 1000 dollar greddy fmic or something like that. So far I have looked at the isis fmic enjuku sells them pretty cheap but i havent seen alot of reviews on them And also which turbo lines should i get im thinking circuit sports Any help/advice would be appreciated guys ![]() |

I recommend either buying used parts from a reliable private seller or check out the kit from Parts Shop Max...they make the setup that places the intercooler close to the radiator and further away from potential points of impact near the bumper. I have gone through a couple cores and always found used or new but not in the box parts on zilvia or craigs list...

I'm not a big fan of used parts because i would rather spend money on something new which i think is more reliable in the long run. I was just wondering what intercooler/hot pipe/bov people would recommend or stay away from

The price is perfect on the ISIS from there i should go wit the ER hotpipe wit HKS bov right? Im also looking at the Blitz type SE which in case i still need a hot pipe and a blow off valve. Do any of these require any type of special mounting or is it just pretty straight forward

Pretty straight forward, just need to trim your bumper and drill holes for the pipes to go thru the body. Can't remember how the battery side is setup but you might have to relocate the batter or get a smaller battery since most FMIC piping will go thru the battery tray.

pbm and isis both look like good kits and you can't go wroung with mishimoto stuff, there price is great for the quality. for the hp/tq your looking for you can't go wrong with any of them.
