OMG i was sitting at the coffee bean in miramesa just chillin.. and freaking like... 7 240's drove by, and one was turbo... WHAT THE HELL its like lets drive our 240 day or something ?i never seen so meny 240's just driving along at one time! lol we should have a mira mesa meet up!

yeah.. and a non op speedomeeter wont save you in miramesa.. theres been lots a kids that made a kill switch for the speedometer in miramesa just so they can get away with speeding...

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard irax.

If you're getting pulled over for speeding, telling the officer that you have a broken speedo is only going to get you an additional fix-it ticket.

There's no way the patrolman is going to hop in your car and let you show him/her that the speedo is busted either. It's contrary to standard safety procedures.

Having a broken speedo is like having a busted tail-light... it's a fix-it ticket, regardless of other charges.

"It's broken officer" is the dumbest thing you can possibly say when you're getting written up for a speeding ticket. If you like that one, you might also want to try:

My tires are the wrong size, so my speedo doesn't show the right speed.

I don't know how fast I was going, I was just staying with the traffic.

I didn't see a sign for the posted speed limit, so I just stayed with the traffic.

If you manage to get any of these to save you from a speeding ticket, you must have really big boobs.

i must have big boobs *looks down shirt* doh, nope, but i have gotten out of a ticket by blaming the indiglo gauges that were on the car when i bought it for not displaying the correct speed, even though they did. i got off with a fix it for a tail light, no speeding though. the ticket even said, speed 78 mph. i also do like the idea of a weekly meet, there are enough of us around and in mira mesa lets get sumthin going.
