Played this at my friends house and I can't see what's so special about this game. The driving physics felt pretty bad when compared to Forza. I used to be a diehard gran turismo fan too. This was just kinda disappointing. The graffics were the only thing that I thought was cool.

Ummmmmm, no, as far as realism goes, the driving physics in GT5 ***FAR*** surpass Forza 3. You may just be accustomed to the easier, less realistic physics in Forza so you don't like the way GT5 feels, which is fine.

A good example of GT5 physics over Forza is braking. If you turn off ABS and brake too hard in a straight line or while turning, you fish tail, get squirrley and etc. In Forza if you did such, you just understeered right off the track.

true the weight transfer physics are very weak in forza, can be quite frustrating while trying to race hard.

I love when people, talk about physics when comparing gt5 and forza.

Where your PhD in physics.

Did you calculate, force when braking at 67 mph in hairpin turn, while including the weight of the car? Have you driving the car in real life, on each track in the game?

I hate the whole forza vs gt5 thing, you like forza good It a LEGIT game. each game has their pros and cons. GT series is reaching it plateau after soo many game. the next few all it is a more polish version previous one, check call of duty series.

With that said, if you dont like the game please tell us why, and dont says physics that fanboy BS.

/rant, though day at school and days not even done yet

on a side note how do you play online, is it community?

Wow guys, after seeing the photos on gtplanet and those posted here, I definitely need to start spending some time in photo mode.

I'm pretty good with my SLR these days but i wonder how it carries over to the video game. It'll be nice to not have to pay for lenses and be able to place your viewing angle wherever you like.

I've made some good headway so far in the game, I've got all my license tests in GOLD and some Silver, but none in bronze so I've got a few more cars than normal. Finished with Beginner and Amateur races yesterday and I'll finish the Professional today for sure.

It's fun to see what other people are doing with the game. I will post some of my Sunset orange Z06 on track sometime soon.

Yeah, even with the traction control low (or even off) it still is really twichy. If I was using it, I could see myself losing a bunch of Nascar races while trying to make a pass...

WOW I am so pissed!

I just sold a bunch of my cars and did a bunch of races to get money so I could build up my S15... Went to the tuning shop, bought a bunch of stuff for it and when I went to practice so I could set it up, none of the stuff I bought was there.

I BOUGHT IT ALL FOR THE WRONG CAR.

Fuck this, I quit for a while.

yeah i realize its for europe.. So i made a UK psn account and it works, however loading up the game doesnt accept it.. I tried doing a UK proxy in the internet settings to try to fool the ps3 to think its in europe but i couldnt get it.

I think I've stock piled about 6 cars that still need delivery. The first 2 levels of races don't have very desirable reward cars.

My damn G27 needs to get here already so I can get my drift fix.
