alright. i bought a s13 shell. it had a 5 spd in it originally. i bought a freshly rebuilt ka24de with trans and everything but a harness. i bought a harness. found out later it was all cut up. bought a new one, that solved some issues but still no spark. got a distributor out of another ka, still no spark. tried different coil, still no spark, everything is grounded, everything is plugged in. i honestly dont know what else to check.

Use a voltmeter and measure what volts you have at the coil, ignition, and at the dizzy. Also what did you do as far as the engine>dash plug? Did you just connect it? or cut and splice wires? What year car/ dash harness is used and what year motor?

You know you have no spark cause you've set a plug on the valve-cover or shock strut top and hooked a wire too it and you're seeing no spark right? (You aren't just guessing its no spark and not fuel right?)

As people said check your grounds. There is one that connects to the firewall in the middle top back of the engine. Also is your coil connected to the chassis, that is ground for it.
