Ecu grounding my fuel pump relay?

I have a 1995 240sx with a s14 sr20det swap. I have had the vehicle for about 5 months ran perfectly, until one night I parked the car on my driveway and I noticed my flex-a-lite fans would stay running even if I had removed the key from the ignition (not just for 2 min like the Dif controller is designed to but continuously on and off again over and over even with a cold motor). knowing this would kill my battery I removed the fuse and decided to tend to the fans in the morning. Morning comes and I try starting the car, and to me it seemed like I had ran out of gas (since it was on empty and a slight sloping driveway) because the car started and then died right away. (Fans still tripping by the way)
Turning the key cranks the motor normally but I noticed my fuel pump isn't priming and I was getting zero fuel pressure. So I decided to check all the relays, fuses, and change the fuel filter, which yielded no improvement. Though I did learn why my fuel pump wasn't priming, my 95 "WC" ecu was not grounding the fuel pump relay(I know this by manually grounding the fuel pump relay myself and the pump primes like normal but the car still doesn't start). However I am unable to trace the Black/pink wire from the fuel pump relay (driverside) to the ecu (passenger side.. wire color change??) This leads me to believe my ecu might be fried?? I have confirmed the Ecu is receiving power, I know its common to wire the fans to a fuel pump relay but my fans are directly wired to the battery..
so Could this be two problems at once? Im not the best at electrical troubleshooting Im stumped from here.. about to just give up and take it in but this is my project car I have it to work on it. I must be overlooking something please help any advice is appreciated
