aight so to start i will say that i have had the motor in and running for several months and put a little over 6000 miles with no problems.
but the other day when i was just driving (not even hard on it. not even in boost) it just shut off on me. didnt hesitate or nothing just completely shut off. i pulled over and tried to start it back up and all it does is just crank but wont start. didnt even stumble or act like it would start. i can hear the fuel pump kick on so i am assuming no spark. my buddy has a rb20 also (but havent had his actually running yet cause its still being swapped.) but i tried the CAS, ignitor, and ECU from his car and still nothing.
anyone know what could be wrong or what to try? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

im thinking possible a ground. or maybe tire rubbed thru the harness inside the fender well.

or try reading his whole post.

its probably a fuse or relay in the engine bay such as engine cont. or whatever, just run through them all.

you may unhook a fuel line to make sure that fuel is actually getting to the rail, even though the pump run..

check your harness cause you say it was rubbin tire...also just look over stupid crap like batt terminals and such, i had a car with an rb and it would run but the batt terminal was a hair loose and caused ONLY the maf to not work....just throwing a couple things out there good luck

when i did my swap my rb would just crank , i replaced the ignitor and wala

thanks for the help so far. i will be working on it today and will go thru and check fuses and relays and the harness. will also check grounds and connections.
but yeah i tried the ingnitor from my buddys rb20 and still nothing.

yay!!! fixed it today runs like a champ again. all it was was a fuse. lol cant believe i didnt think to check that first. it was the 10 amp eng cont fuse. oh well its running again time to go kick shitty again. lol

Now, you just have to figure out why that fuse blew! Nah, just kidding, No seriously i would...! or keep a couple spare fuses on hand.
