Turbo 3.5lt VQ (350z) and trans
THE PERFECT SWAP FOR ANY 240!
im swaping a 2jz into my 350z so i now have this motor and trans for sale...i was going to do my own 240 swap but im just going to take that money and put it towards paint. its a 3.5lt VQ with the 6spd trans has *around* 35k on motor...always changed oil every 3000 miles with mobile 1 and a mobile 1 filter. i also have most of the receipts for the aftermarket parts...the motor runs great and has NEVER given me a problem in the past, it made 408hp and 399tq..deff a strong runner and would be perfect in a light 240! its still in my car and will stay in the car till it sells (so it can be looked at and ran to show how well it runs) this doesnt mean im going to be giving joy rides to every person who calls..serious buyers only! it was origionally turboed with the APS single turbo kit BUT i upgraded all that with the GTM single turbo upgrade kit (true GT35R ball bearing, tial 44mm wastgate, larger charge pipe ect) it has a Competition stage 4 Clutch and Fywheel (6 puck and 14.5 lb) there is alot more but thats the main points, im very well known on My350z.com and have never had a bad seller rating since being a member there...this is my build thread if you wana check out the whole build of the motor and trans my little build - MY350Z.COM Forums im asking $5,000 but im open for reasonable offers P.S. ill post more pics if anyone wants them (pretty much looks like any other VQ haha) ![]() ![]()

I'm on my phone right now so I can't post the dyno, but its on I think the last or close to the last page of my build that I posted....it was on 11.7 psi..the dyno was with the stock map off the unichip that came with the kit, so its a little jumpy (you will know what I mean)...but with better tuning it should make way more hp

the turbo seems like its mounted in a dangerous area and your car looks pretty low. haha i don't know how you avoid scraping it. not shitting on your thread just curious about that.

very true..it does sit VERY low on the car..but there is a cross brace that runs right under it that protects it pretty well...iv never had the turbo hit the ground...it also sits between the two front tires so unless you are off roading it and cross a place where the road has a raised center, it shouldnt ever hit...iv been driving it this way for 2 years now and havnt had a single problem with it being too low on the car. just like any low car, it just takes a little patience with rough roads...
