how to: AC w/ RB25 Top Mount
I've read and did research on getting AC hooked up in my 95 s14 with an RB25DET swap. I've also heard that it is and isnt possible to get the AC compressor to fit since the manifold hangs low, but would that mean i need to get an R33+ AC compressor and not the R32? I have the Series 2 motor. I'm kind of stumped and would love to get AC working.
Thanks guys. |

What top mount manifold will you be using ?
It all depends on that, you can get a custom one made that clears that A/C hoses once that's installed. It's all a matter of how deep your pockets are. I've seen top mount R33's with AC when i was stationed in Japan, I don't see why it would be a problem with an S14. You'll also hear a lot of, "it's impossible" with some 240 owners, just because they don't have the money to get the custom work done.
