SR Sr overheating and no boost!!

So i finished my sr swap recently but still haven't really driven it. Why? Because it overheats. When i turn the car on, if its on for more than a minute or even if moved in the driveway, the temp gauge will go up halfway then with a little while longer it goes all the way up. I have drained the radiator 2 times and bled it for like 10 minutes with the front jacked up. Checked the thermostat and it opens up fine. Also when i did drive it, i can put down the throttle and it takes a bit for power to build up and when the turbo is supposed to kick in, it doesn't Its like theres no compression in my turbo. Could i possibly just be recycling hot gases with no compression which will result in quicker heating and no boost? I'm lost and don't want to fork over 2k to have a shop look at it and fix it. Below is a mods list on the engine:

S13 SR20DET
All New Engine Bearings
All New Engine Seals
New NGK Spark Plugs
S13 in S14 Converted engine harness
GARRETT GT2871R Turbo
CX RACING Intercooler and Piping
Sard BOV
ISIS Intake Manifold
DC Sports Bottom Mount Turbo Manifold
SR20DET Stock MAFS
Full KOYO Radiator
ISIS Dual Fans and Shroud hardwired to switch
stock s13 sr ecu

Please help i want to drive this thing!!!!

It looks like its over heating because the sr coolant temp sensor reads high on s14s, switch it with your ka one.

Got new temp sensor and my temps look okay. itll warm up to about half and with a little driving and still keeping it on, it stays at half and doesn't go over. But now i still have the problem with my boost. when i drive it, it doesnt give me the power you expect when you put the pedal down and still not getting any power around 3k revs

Any ideas???!?!?!?!

You have a boost gauge?

Like everybody says here, check timing. Use a boost gauge to see if you are actually boosting the motor.
