I bought a 180sx with a sr20det and it came with a hybrid turbo that the previous owner (got) built, its a s15 turbo exhaust housing with a GT3540 compressor housing.

I've heard that hybrid turbos can be bad??

would this give me more boost? faster spooling? more lag? higher efficiency?

Now what does that mean in terms of performance? as I'm in the process of getting some 550cc injectors and a external wastegate after which I want to get my ECU chipped and tuned hoping for about 320whp-340whp. current mods are:

t28rs/3540 hybrid turbo ofcourse
z32 AFM
cold air intake
2.5" straight through exhaust
300x600 intercooler
500hp walbro fuelpump
(i think thats it)
