sr20det tranny.driveshaft.bov problems!!! please help me!!

hey guys.. got a couple problems with the s13 sr20det in my s14... first off, when im driving at certain rpms, the shifter and clutch pedal vibrate very badly.. usually at high speeds as well... im thinking it either unbalanced driveshaft, bad u-joints or just a bad tranny.. secondly, when i take the motor over 5k rpm, i cant shift smoothly.. its like i go to clutch and try to pull the shifter out of 1rst and it takes me forever to get it out of first like its stuck... happens in gear 2 as well... i think there might be something wrong with the clutch line as well.. changed out new master and slave cylinders and bled it properly... man this sucks.. cant even race cuz i cant shift and the vibration is annoying....lastly, i have a blitz dd bov atmospheric.. the car dies when the rpms jump.. when the rpm drops from over 3k rpm, the needle drops to 0 and the car dies... people have told me to adjust the spring but that didnt help.. any other suggestions. thanks

The tranny problem sounds like you got a bad tranny or forgot to put tranny fluid in it.......

the BOV is a common problem for a SR but what you are explaining sounds as though you need to reset the whole spring and work it up as needed.......

Car is dying because the BOV is dumping air to the atmosphere that the MAFS has already accounted for and is no longer there.

Recirculate it.

Check the carrier bearing for the driveshaft. After swap I drove around with a bad vibration @ 4K rpms in only 4th gear. Thought it was my tranny the whole time. Finally re-torqued the bearing bolts with a little adjustment before hand - Completely gone now.

Check everything else, b4 thinking you got a bad tranny. These trannys are pretty tough
