Clean shaven

Does anyone know how to take the power antenna out of an s13? I'm painting my car in autobody and wanted to shave it (I never listen to the radio anyway). I tried searching for this topic but didn't find what I'm looking for. It's probably much simpler than what I've made of it so far, but if anyone could enlighten me that would be great.

after you remove the antenna just cut out some sheet metal in the proper shape then bend it to fit weld around the edge and grind down the weld so it is nice and smooth
i think they have it on DIY net if not one of the episodes of trucks also covered the process

Haha, the 3rd brake light is already gone. So are the two rear side markers. The antenna will be shaved as soon as I can get it out. I'll get it figured out tomorrow.
