Let this be S15dude, and moderators..., someone got caught out in a lie, and they're messin with someone else... let em get ragged on, and besides we dont need any BMW owners in here anyway, unless they also own 240sx's, which would be quite odd...

Uhh...no...the fact that on www.dtmpower.net his profile says he owns a '01 M5 and he writes to the forum as if he does. But here he says he doesn't have a BMW...ETC...ETC....etc....

I don't really have a 240 either...I really have a '74 Pinto...but I can whip all of your asses any day!!!

OK, if no one else can see this as udder BS, then I am extremely amazed! I am not saying that a BMW could not beat a GSR (wel it depends on the BMW), but this story is straight out of some straight to video B-movie. What a joke!

You guys saying you'd rather have a 318, 330, even M3, are idiots if you own a decent 240 because you obviously must not even have the slightest clue about your cars potential.

hey dumbass, are u blind?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> i said M3 EVO, as in evolution, which are the cars that eventually became the first U.S. Spec M3 based on the E30 platform which ran from '88-91, which was powered by a 2.3 Liter DOHC 4 cyinder, coincidentally codenamed S14.

this is an '88 E30 M3 U.S. Spec

first year of the E36 is a 3.0 6, then 96-99 is an OBDII spec 3.2L. the E46 is powered by the S54 3.2L DOHC 6.

That is my favorite M3 of all years. I love the Wide body treatment. I was walking by one in my parking lot today at work, Drool. I think I might some day take one up as a project.

Hate to add fuel to the fire, but I did see that commercial too. And, like anyone, wished it would happen to me. However, the odds it actually would, well, let's just say I wouldn't put any money on it.

I don't mean this against onebadm5, who said he found the post elsewhere, not told it as his own. &nbsp;I'm just saying I doubt that happens anywhere outside of a scripted world.
