Kouki headlights - adjusting height of beam??

I recently purchased my first Kouki, since my zenki got rear-ended and totaled. I installed my Tein Coilovers which leave the car sitting pretty low. Every since the car was lowered the headlights are too low. The cutoff is on the ground about 20 ft in front of the car. Needs to be much higher. I tried to adjust them higher but the passenger side only goes up so far. The drivers side will go much higher though.

Has anyone had any issues adjusting their passenger side headlight to the proper height? Is there a reason the passenger side wont go as high as the drivers side? Thanks in advance for the help.

I would think that the passenger side would actually be able to be adjusted higher than the driver side considering its a LHD car. When I purchased a brand new JDM kouki headlight from the dealer the actual metal adjustment tab inside of the housing was broken so I was unable to adjust its height. I'm figuring your using the USDM headlights but its just a thought.

Thanks for the response. Yes they are USDM. I feel dumb asking what seems to be a easy question, but its weird that the passenger side would not adjust as high as the driver side.

Just hopeing someone might have had the same issue with theirs and figured out a solution. Tired of driving around with my healights pointed at the ground.

That silver adjustment knob isn't moving at all in either direction?

If it's moving up and down but maxing out really low, I'd say you have an issue with how the headlight was mounted or somehow the housing is all messed up and not letting you adjust it all the way.

The silver adjustment knob is moving the headlight up and down, it is just maxing out really low.
I thought maybe its because the car is low and its just not used to being angled that high. But is weird that the drivers side will adjust high enough.

Ill see if i can do something at the fender mount or un-mount it completely and see what happens. Thanks for the responses.

Shouldn't matter how low you are...unless you're rear is all jacked up and front is slammed to the ground.

IIRC, the adjustment on kouki headlights should pretty much be the same as Zenki Headlights. You have 2 adjustment screws, one on the outside towards the corner lights that adjust left and right, and you have one in the middle that adjust the up and down. Should be like a 8mm wrench IIRC.

Well... I dont know what i was doing wrong. I feel stupid but i popped the hood again last night to double check and when i turned the height adjustment knob it DID raise the beam.

I dont know what i was doing wrong before on this basic setup, lol, but it works now.

Thanks for all the help on this to those who helped.
All i can think of is that i was somehow turning the wrong knob the whole time, or maybe the headlights settled into place on a bump somehow, i dont know, but thanks again to those who tried to help.
