s14 Apexi Power fc car won't start .. any suggestions pls?
First of all i bought the car with the ecu not installed ...
the old owner did not have an commander so made things
difficult. I borrowed a friends commander and turned off the
boost kit.

I reseted the ecu on the commander.

car turns on for a second or less and then dies ...

overfuel ? bad ecu ?

any ideas

z32 maf... can't access the maf menu though its not in the list

got the car with it changed...

got front mount intercooler , and intake changed...
going full 3" exhaust as soon as my apexi works

my NTR gives a black dot and WRN light , IGN , and ECC

might any be the problem with the car not staying on , it starts then dies

That's the number for the FC commander, what's the number on the actual ECU?

just got off the phone with apexi and your serial # is for an s14 sr20det 93-96 i didnt ask if it was ljetro or djetro sorry what motor and stock ecu# are you using right now

i'll have to check my # in the morning....

im running a sr20det and my car is 94 with a 95 engine in it ... so full harness is from an 95....

Im going to throw the stock sr20det map back on it for an s14.
i do have an z32 maf , FMIC , Intake , and 3" full exhaust...

so have to make some changes in the airflow right ? hmmm im putting it on
a datalogit tommorow instead of using my friends handheld commander

It was my first time working with datalogit and middle in a street... this friend borrowed me his and we were doing it infront of his restaurant...

so next time i think ill get a better look at my data... im in need of an commander...
