temp gauge not working help!!!!!

Anyone know why this could be happing. My temp gauge doesnt work at all. Before I did my s14 sr swap my temp gauge was working and now that i swapped it in it doesnt work at all. Now I been doing some research and I read that I have to put a ka temp sensor instead of the sr one is this true. Any feedback would be great thanks for looking.

Not sure if its the same with you but when i swapped my s13 sr into my s14 i had the same problem. Got a temp sensor for a s14 ka from a parts store, swapped it, and now my gauge reads fine. Heard you just have to match the sensor with the cluster. s14 with s14 and s13 with s13

He said it doesnt work at all, I'd check the wiring from the ECU kick panel to the chassis/cluster wiring. Shouldnt matter to the OP, he said he did an S14 SR swap into an S14. Sensors will be the same between the 2.
