AC & PS..Worth taking out?

I was thinking of taking my Air Condition and Power steering over the weekend because I dont have nuttin else to do. I just wanted to know if it will do any effect on my engine? and is it worth taking out?

i just took out my ac because i wanted to equal out the weight from removing the spare... but yeah, i can feel some difference in response and handling from removing the ac, so if it doesnt work, and you have the time, then go for it, otherwise, its not really a big deal.

all the ac equiptment weighs 70 pounds iirc, Battery is close to that weight, leave the ac relocate the battery, take out the spare and lose some weight... If you live somehwere where its hot keep it in... take out ur clutch fan insead and opt for a electric fan, take out power steering?! what are u thinkgin... leave ur car how it is. its not worth it unless ur goign full drag or something

why??? full race???...won't do much to the engine but you'll be sweating like a....hot summer sun and blazing santa ana winds.........and the feel of sweat beading up on your forehead. and of course...the smell of sweat on your seats....ahhhh...i love my ac....

btw...i'm only saying this cause you put sac as your location......unless you just moved here....it's hot...hot...and hot... in the summer. reaches almost 100 C

Yeah, got neither on my s13 for over a year now and I can tell you I'll be putting mine back on pretty soon. AC is the greatest invention second to the engine if u live anywhere that gets remotely hot.. Power-steering isn't a must, but keep it if u want to do autocross/drift.. track driving remove it.

i live in florida. for a few months its cool to not have a/c. than you pull up next to someone with the windows up when the temps are over 85 degrees in the shade. there they are...sure their not going as fast, but you know what....

Thier not sweating thier ass off.

Soo take it off if you want, its really up to you. I'd DEFINITLY leave the power steering on though.
