now that all my body work is done
and my kit is on, the first stage of
my custom paint job has started
the whole car will be done in house of kolors
kandy cobalt blue over silver ghost graphics
with a black base coat.

all the door jams, the trunk jam, trunk lid, and under hood
will be done like this. the exterior will be something else.

under normal lighting, the graphics dont really show
the pictures are taken with a flash to bring them out
they'll also come out under direct sunlight.

i'll post more as we go along.

its all random symbols for diff. things ie:
strength, power, swift, patience,
integrity, etc..

i can put up a complete list if people really
wanna know.

the exterior of the car will be totally different graphics

the lettering will only be in the door jams, under the hood
trunk jam, trunk lid.

the graphics really only show under direct light
for the most part, the car will look black

...it kinda makes me wish i'm not just painting my car jet black. Its nice to have something different out there, keep up the good work

i think it looks ugly, reminds me of those ugly Alpine cars (civic SI and RSX). Is that were you got the idea? As long as you like it.

the rest of the car is gonna be totally different
that is just whats gonna be in the jams and under hood and trunk
the alpine cars were no source of influence.

is it a show car? thats a diff. idea and will probally work for a show car, but nothing i would really want. what kind of kit did you get? show some more pics of the rest of the car.

its actually gonna be a fully functional , driveable car

its also got a custom turbo kit on the ka motor
so there will be both looks and performance
and yes, i do drive the car daily!

the way you describe it sounds good ,where it's mostly dark until under direct light etc.

cdigity, that is going to be one nice 240 when your done. Not many people even paint their jams of their car regularily they just leave it the color it was. Most people probably dont realize all the time you spent to custom paint just the jams of your car. It will definitely set your car off from other show cars. I cant wait to see your car when its finished. Good choice on paint, i wouldnt paint with anything other than House of Kolor. Anyways good luck on the pant job.

straight up i would say it's chinese...i don't see any hiragana. but it could also be japanese, as japanese kanji characters are chinese characters. the only way to tell is if you see a chinese character there that doesn't exist in the japaense kanji.
