Many of the songs start out a bit slow (I don't mean beat wise) but then they get good. I really don't mind the introspective or "emo" Drake as some call him. Thank Me Later was a great debut, I'm in the minority who thinks so. But I want sort of a concept album from Drake, which he seems incapable of making because of his inclination towards making those radio pop singles.

I say this album is better than his last. More bangers at least. I just love t-minus's beats on it. He's a niche artist. If he were to make a sing-only album, and then a rap-only album, I'm sure they'd both be successful.

Personally, I feel that Drake's music speaks to alot of people because they've experienced the shit he's talking about. People who've experienced that hoodass, hard life, gun talk, dope boy shit? A vast minority. But that vast minority's got the biggest fucking mouth and I just wish they've shut the fuck up.

Stop glamorizing hood shit and clowning on normal people when they talk about normal shit.

I did like Thank Me Later more, but Take Care is decent. It's just a low more key and even more personal album. His ability to get so personal is the main reason why I dig Drake. The stuff he is talking about? That's real shit to me. I know about that. That super hood shit that the Drake haters seem to love? That shit might as well be another planet to me.

I think Drake comes in and RUINS songs. I'll hear a song and be like, "oh this is kinda dope." and then BAM this mf comes in all monotone and sounding like he's singing/rapping/whateverdudeisdoing on a song with another beat and just ruins shit. Like on 'Forever' the beat is ok, and most of the flows are cooo, but then his hook just KILLS that song.
