Yes and no...some of them are brainwashed as fuck, enough to think that Kim Jong Il is like a God. Some of them are just scared as fuck not to do what is expected of them, that they just go along with the brain washed fucks.

Personally, I hope his son is not as fucking crazy. Kid is supposed to have westernized education. Spent alot of his life going to school in Europe (Geneva IIRC), so hopefully his outlook of the west is not as twisted. But then again, I doubt he's completely running the show. Word is that his Aunt (Kim Jong Il's sister) and Uncle are his "handlers".

I suspect the Military has been running it for a while. The kid is not going to say "free elections tomorrow" even if he wanted. To many people are in power to want to give it up. Most of RNK ruling elite are foreign educated and love Levi blue jeans and James Bond movies.
