Need Kouki to Zenki Conversion help (core support)

Hey guys i'm converting my s14 from a kouki to a zenki. First of all i was wondering if the kouki and zenki core supports are the same. Also I was wondering if the hood hinges were the same, thanks!

You can use the Zenki core support, you'd have to cut out the closed off areas behind the headlights. Kouki headlights go in deeper than the Zenki headlights.

The core supports are not the same. The hood hinges are.

Hell if you were close we could swap front ends

flip I think you misread it, my current front end is a kouki and im trying to convert it to a zenki, so I currently have a kouki core support but I was wondering if it was possible to modify a kouki core support so it's like a zenki one

Should work, like I said, only real difference between the 2 are the openings behind the headlights. Zenki headlights wont really be affected if there are openings for it on the core support. If anything, itll make it a hell lot easier to change your headlight bulbs with the backside open.

For future reference, anyone who is going zenki => kouki you do not have to cut out an access hole for the low beam portion in the core support. The headlamp housing clears fine, but if you do care to change the bulbs without removing the headlamps you can cut an access hole on each side. To do a zenki to kouki conversion just bolt up a kouki bumper retainer to the zenki bumper support, bolt on the fenders, hood, and lights and you're good to go.

Better question, why couldn't you just sell the car. I'm pretty sure you could get a Zenki w/ $3000 in cash extra.

well my s14 came with a s15 front end on it which I didn't like it, so I ended up selling the s15 front end and tried to go kouki. But i ended up not being able to source all the parts and so I ended up selling that front end too, and I've almost finished sourcing all the parts for my zenki front end, it ended up being a lotttt cheaper, so anyways I shouldn't have to buy a zenki core support right?

no you don't need a zenki core support-just redrill the headlight brackets to fit the zenki's
