Hello ladies and gents. I recently purchased a S13 chassis. This car will be used for track use and will be getting a LS2 swap very soon. I would like to know what suspension components are necessities & most commonly bought (excluding coilovers). For example:

Good/Bad brand names to stick/reject with for race applications?
Good/Bad brand names to stick/reject with for street applications?
Who manufactures just a good part in general?
Rear suspension components needed? If so what do you focus on?
What parts fail and what parts hold up fairly well?
Who would you say one of the top suspension (arms & rods) companies would be?
Please share your personal experiences with different brands/components

If these questions are answered accurately it will be a huge benefit. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to give me their input on various suspension companies and their products.

Powered by Max everything. Seriously. But other good companies are cusco, spl, battle version, tein, etc... You essentially get what you pay for. I will say that I'd avoid Godspeed, Megan, and any other 'bargain' company for products that have bearings or moving parts. Those wear out quickly and lead to unwanted noise and slop.

I'm nearly all powered by Max right now aside from lower control arms (which will be changing soon). I can speak personally for their quality. Also, my friend started building his a little before I did and he used Megan ruca's...they went to crap quick (about 5 months for the bearings to get some serious play). There' some tangible examples.
