DIY side skirt installation tips?

whats up i have some fiberglass ebay side skirts and im trying to figure out how to make them sit flush against the car. i tried that double sided tape stuff, but it doesnt stick to the fiberglass!

3m will stick did you use a heat gun and clean it real good? All of the kits will not sit flush. You would have to put screws in it then fill it in then paint it. Or you can just mold it on. Or get a body shop to modify it.

i used 3m ... but i did not use a heat gun.... so you're supposed to melt it a bit?

When you heat it up itll stick like super glue. So make sure you line it up before you stick it to the car.

innnteresting... sounds good. except 1 thing. i dont have a heat gun. could i use my gf's hair dryer or something? or is that not hot enough?

if you can find a heat gun, heat up the fiberglass till its slightly pliable then shape it flush to your car.. thats what body shops do to make kits flush... im just going to do 2 tiny screws on each side though.
