As far worrying about your speedo off, how can your speedo be off if its your front wheels that are undersized with 225/35-18s? |

But to entertain your question a 175 -185 would be a mild stretch. |

16x7 +20 is gonna be sunk like a battleship, your gonna need like 25mm spacers at the very least to be flush I run 17x9 + 12 in the front and don't rub at all, all you need it fender roller, camber, low, and proper tire size, atleast if you were gonna squeeze meaty ass tires and run like -1degree of camber I could understand that

Do I need to run extended lugs in order to fit 18x9.5+12 and 18x10+20 on an s13? I'm not planning on running any spacers. Probably a dumb question but that's what this thread is for, right? Thanks!

So I got a pair of 225/45/17 Dunlop Z1 star specs for a awesome price that I couldn't pass up. I always wanted a good sticky tire up front but they're a little taller than I had expected. So my question is what's a good sticky tire thats close to 225/45 but not as tall.
Here's some pics for reference. ![]() ![]() ![]() Setup is as follows: Stock S14 fenders 17x10 +5 10mm spacers Stance GR+ pro coils |

a 0 offset would stick out further from the car, so you'd need to pull the fender out to match it, as well as roll the fender lip flat so it doesnt slice your tire. the 12 would still stick out some, but you wouldnt need to pull it as far. google "offset calculator" and you can put in wheel specs and it'll tell you how much farther in/out a wheel will sit, and you can get an idea how much you might need to pull the metal

Actually you should be able to get away with just a roll on the fenders, shouldn't need a pull at all. If you just get good tire sizes (i.e. stretched), and dial in an alignment with as little camber as possible but still staying in the negatives to fit under the fender, you should be perfectly fine.

That's exactly what I was saying, with just a roll and mildly stretched tires he would be around -1 maybe -2 at most? Just guessing off the top of my head at the moment tho, been awhile since I messed with a 240.

how many inches should I drop it
I dont want to have it slammed or rubbing everything under my fenders.
was thinking just tein 1.8, 1.5 springs will work. or should I take Eibach 2.2, 2.1springs. they are 18" wheels 205/35/18. thinking about getting some 225/40/18 still getting car together. [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() |

What are you running for shocks? Stock shocks are not gonna keep up with the Eibach springs for sure. For as much money you'll spend, might as well get an entry level coilover and not slam it. |
