help!! clunking sound in front of car!!

i recently replaced my rack and pinion, tie rods, r and p bushings, lower arm bushings with brand new ones thinking it would get rid of the clunking sound coming from front left side.

i have Tein HEs and im aware of the infamous *popping* sound that comes from the front struts but im pretty sure the sound im experiencing is a *cla-clunk* sound. it seems as if something is moving in and out everytime i go over even a slight bump or dip in the road hence making this annoying clunk sound. at first i thought it was a loose arm but now i think its my strut. is it possible that i blew the shock?? oh, and its just the front left one too.
i am pissed cause i spent loads of money trying to get rid of this problem!!any help is greatly appreciated.

did you torque down your struts? it is in the instructions to torque them all down before you install. I know, I didn't do mine. I tightened them, now it's gone.
