I have a set of used RB25DET Tomei 256 Cams I bought about this time last year. They only have about 2000 miles on them. These cams are 575 on Raw Brokerage Website. They are the series 1 cams for the rb25det. As long as you dont have an r34 RB25det they will fit. I know cause I fought this problem when i was ordering them initially. As long as you have the silver colored CAS sensor they will fit correctly. I now have larger Tomei 270 cams. These cams are pretty much brand new. I'm asking $400 plus shipping. someone get these i just got mine (s2) in little while ago waiting to put them in they are hell of a lot more but tomei running sale but howd the 256s work out for you? any noticeable changes in either idle or performance?

They didn't have the upgraded cam sound but it did make me a little more power. I think it would of made me alot more power if i would of had adjustable cam gears with them. The only reason i bought these 256 cams is because I broke the stock exhaust cam while installing the CAS a year ago. Now i'm running a solid lifter setup with 270 duration tomei cams and a to4r turbo.

after reading your post i actually had to check my cams and my cas i do have s2 engine with aluminum cas (2373102u11 RB Cam Angle Sensor (CAS) - Raw Brokerage - Your #1 source for GTR and RB parts!) so i also have the star pattern and not half moon (R34 RB Cam Angle Sensor) hope that helps any future buyers lol

no thats not my car. I have a 240sx hatchback. I also have rb26 valve covers mated to my rb25. What you posted is correct about the CAS. The cams i have are for the first CAS that you posted.
