receiving 32 ecu code

I know its the EGR system and my car has 160 000 miles one it what do you guys think needs replacing in the egr system. I checked all the vaccuum hoses and no cracks. Any ideas ?

did u check the diaphragm (sp?)? Put your fingers under teh egr and squeeze up. if ur car starts to bog a lil and sounds like its goin to die.... then you egr is fine and ull have the same problem as me. unfortunately i dont even kno whats wrong wit mine hahaha

faulty code... even if ur egr is fine sometimes the ecu will still throw the code, if u have a snap on diagnostic computer theres a footnote under the code description that says this ecu sometimes throws a faulty code. something to that effect, var has the answer on this one

o yea what do u mean faulty code? whenever i resest the ecu, the light goes away till 5 min later or so then it comes back on. I never had that happen to me before. what the hell could it mean?

same thing i timed mine and it was exactly 5 minutes after

my s14 threw me a 32 code , so i went to a shop where my friend has a snap on scan tool , and all it could tell us is that the upstream 02 sensor was messed up , so replaced it anyways , and it worked no probs anymore , hope it helps .
