Can't figure out this problem to save my life. Car was fine then all the sudden wouldn't start. Ignition switch fuse link is blown, I replace it, blows again. Car has full power to everything but blows the fuse immediately after turning the key to the start position. Alternator, starter, battery, all checked out fine with the neighbors voltmeter. Ignition switch was unplugged and we tested again.....wasn't the issue. The car won't crank at all, no clicking no nothing. I've been looking all over for loose connectors, exposed wires touching metal, etc.

I definitely have a short somewhere I just have no idea what else to do/look for. This car is my daily so its HIGHLY annoying it would just stop starting like this. I need it fixed ASAP......anybody with knowledge please help! lol

i would inspect around the starter. sounds like its grounding out

found the issue......it was where the clutch button was bypassed and the wires spliced together.....they put a rubber sleeve on it and left the end open......It ended up moving around and I'm guessing a screw went inside causing it to ground out. All is well now! thanks for the help
