auto vs manual TB??

I just finished changing the motor in my 240. I went from auto to manual and changed the engine at the same time also. I put in an engine from a manual car. The tb is different though. The auto has to connectors to it and the manual only has one. Should I use the one from the auto or just connect the one connector and it'll be fine?

The auto TB's extra connector is for kickdown operation. Just leave the extra plug hanging.

is that extra plug where it connects to the green box where the clutch pedal should go? theres' this green box hanging inside the dash and is bolted down by a bracket where the top of the clutch pedal assembly goes. what does this little box do?

no, the connector I'm talking about is right where the TB is. The box you talk about it the auto lock interlock mechanism. Did you convert your car to stick? if so just throw it out like I did.

Yeah, like someone said, the TPS has 2 extra pins on the auto for kickdown. If the plug fits use it, otherwise swap the tps's. I know on a SR the plugs are different, but if it works on a KA its fine. On a S13 it wont make a difference. On a S14 the auto ecu wont like running without the auto tranny computer.
