We broke our Autobacs cherry the other day visiting a small one just a few km away (right off R246). It was nice, but it wasn't a SUPER Autobacs. There was a pretty nice green FD in front (pics will come when I get back online for good), and a interesting looking MkIV Poopra.

CSI:LA - lol Dunno dude.. talk to Changbang and ask him about his recent ticket drama and see if you still want to play cars as much. Reading his blogs is making me glad I'm here.

BGL: i dunno... - JapKevin? Kspec.com? Gaijin-Racing.com? I can't see it happening. I MIGHT be a parts finder for a friend of mine, once I find all the used part stores and junkyards I can.

Glad: You've piqued my interest.. do you know where I could find pics/full specs on said S14? I checked that groups' website but since it's in such need of an update, few links worked and I couldn't find a link to a pic of the car or of it's specs... only a mention of him and it.

Yeah their webmaster has been a bit preoccupied of late. Corey is working on a new website for the Iwakuni bunch. I'll dig up George's email and get it to you.

I FINALLY met some people here on Atsugi.. One guy has a nice 180 he bought from Great Company (who are apparently only about 30 minutes away), another guy has a 180 (with a CA19DET) that he's built pretty much by himself (and it's turned out quite nicely).
I found where some junkyards are, and Lisa, Emma and I are going on a field trip tomorrow.

Found junkyards, but can't speak japanese.
Found tuned car dealers but prices are too high.
Found R32 GTR wheels. :-) but they want ~100000yen for them.
Talked to Gladhatter on the phone today. We were supposed to meet up for a burger or something, but it looks like it'll have to be later in the week. He's staying in the New Sanno Hotel in Tokyo. I hear those are some fine digs.

Watched Drift Tengoku Video magazine vol 21. It's good. You get to see the 'Gal Ikaten' The chick who wins could beat most anyone on this board.
There's a good piece on how to re-route your fender arch wiring harness into your engine bay in ~3 hours with no wire cutting... (for S14, anyway)

Found a kouki S14 (silver, stock aero, exhaust and it's a Qs auto) for $3500. lol
I'm not touching it. it's pretty, but it wouldn't be as much fun as a car I could get for cheaper. Plus, i'd to crash it.

got to meet Gladhatter last night.. no, there wasn't any showdown or rumble.... He's a nice guy! We went for some BBQ here on base and BS'd about cars... it was nice being able to talk to someone you've never met before, and yet have been familiar with. That, and it's a break from not knowing anybody here.
Anyway, hope you got back to Yokota ok, man! I think Lisa and I will try to head out that way before you leave. We'd like to tour that area, and it'd be nice to have a guide who's been there awhile.
