my setup this season is lib tech skate banana, union atlas, and burton freestyle boots. still have to get the union atlas bindings though. so excited for the opening day of mt creek!

I'll still get a pass, even if the snow sucks, I'll still go quite often.

The season is right around the corner for Southern California resorts. Rain/snow is already falling. I hope it's a good season, unlike the last one.

I bought a season pass to China Peak. Finally bought a Burton board for this season, trying to get more competitive this year.

I love shreding. Im in nh so loon, waterville valley, and even take trips to vt for killington. i got a gew set ups but i like my RIDE agenda, with some ride EX bindings and DC boots. Im actually tring to get rid of a pair of burton moto boots size 10. If anyone is intrested..$40 also anon goggles $30.

Has anyone every done one of those Revelstoke trips? Where you pay the resort and they house you and show you how to snowboard for like 3 months?

Just wondering cause i was planning on doing it for 2013 season and was looking for some input; 7k seems a bit steep.

So I went to mammoth opening day. It was the worst trip of my life. Went to bear yesterday and it was epic. Still waiting for our mountain in Vegas to open.

You could catch a ride with me sometime. I go to WV as much as I can. Takes about 8 hours with the Duramax cruising at 80. I mess around at Gatlinburg every chance I get too.

I have the Vans Encore and I absolutely love them. They come with the BOA system. Bought it for $90 at Sport Chalet after a 50% off sale.

Question: I went to Tahoe (Northstar) this weekend. I had trouble with my board turning or catching edge and kept falling. Im not a Pro but I can usually haul ass down a mt. This was really weird.

Also this is a used board I picked up off craigslist.
Any suggestions???

Oh, my buddy also broke his collar bone...

what size is the board, and what size was your old board? longer boards have less response but are more stable at high speeds. shorter boards have more response but are less stable at high speeds. so maybe you changed sizes in which case it would feel different. there are other variables too like board flex, camber vs rocker blah blah. perhaps the board just needs a tune.

on another note i picked up my season pass yesterday. all i need now is snow.....and its 50 degrees outside today.....

Went to Northstar yesterday with a few friends. Not all the courses were open yet, but it was still a blast.

Lots of powder, and little ice. Spent the latter part of the day at the park. I can't wait to go back up next week!

Also forgot to mention I just ordered these Spy x Herschel goggles. Pretty stoked on their arrival.

Was up at Northstar this past weekend too. Nice hardpack snow with a little fluff on top. 50 degrees and sunny, was tshirt weather.

Was riding my rock board setup: old school Burton Dominant on Ride Beta bindings (cow print).

The best part is we're moving in Jan to Steamboat Springs CO. Trying to figure out how to trailer my 240 there as we speak

Its a 158 burton gap.

I looked at the edges and they were rough. So I bought a dakine edge tool on sale for 5 doll hairs!! Also did a re wax. Hope it works.

I did not have a great time at north star. Pure ice and slush. Im going to china peak tomorrow, they just got 15 inches of snow so there should be some good stuff to ride. I shall report with pictures and vids accordingly.
