Are my frame rails toast?

Are these beyond repair?

Id say that can be fixed, cut it out, box it up, weld, spray some undercoating on it... Any good body shop can fix this.

Yeah, def fixable. For some reason ONE part of my frame rail had a big hole on it. Everywhere else on it was fine. Cost like 120 bucks for a high quality metal shop to clean and patch it. It's way stronger now than it was as a result.

Did you happen to look at the second picture? I just realized that I posted the other two as a link. The second picture is the part towards the back where one piece of the frame rail slides into the other, and I hope its that cheap for me to fix lol

Def fixable... these cars are unibody so it doesn't matter as much as you might think.

That's a tough fix, but it is fixable. Definitely not something to throw away the chasis for. Some japanese companies make replacement frame rails and a very competent body shop could fix it as well. Your average "Pedro's T.J. style paint and body" won't know what to do with that though. What worries me is the rust bubbles that I see. Once you start grinding off all the undercoating you may find out that there's not much material left to weld to.

Yeah, I have a friend who works at a good body shop that does welding that I'm going to check with as soon as I get home from my vacation. What is a reasonable price range for this to be fixed? I know qemyst said he paid $120 bucks for his but I don't think I'm getting quite such a good deal..

Dude I have no clue, I was the first to drop the car (it was bone stock when i bought it). When I did the z32 brakes/five lug convertion I checked the rails and they were fine!, but I just recently swapped exhaust(a year later) and I saw my frame rail was bent exactly like that. Don't really remember hitting frame that hard anywhere just the usual scraping over driveways and speed bumps.
