s14 No power at starter relay but power at the ign cylinder to it

Ok guys put new starter cause u was too lazy to diagnose it but now still does what it wants.. If I just power from alt to the 5spot on the starter relay it will start duh. But I Checked for power at the ign cylinder going to the starter it's got power. But (same wire per FSM) at the relay there's no power. Any ideas anything I should check for. Thanks guys and 95ka s14 it's been having problems getting starter to work for the past while now it's finally dead, and clutch switch working and producing ground.

Plastic Starter Switch module on the Ignition switch has gone bad. It shorts out when you turn the key to the START position. You'll need to replace the switch module. See attached link for a picture of what it looks like... Beck Arnley 201-1915 Starter Switch | Auto Parts Warehouse

It's a known problem on S14's. The modules go bad after a while. I've seen it happen to several S14's over the years.

Hope this helps...
