wiring for turning on speedometer
Hello superiors.
Just gat through with a s13 in a s14. Everything is fine except my speed gauge don't work. Rpm, fuel nd others do. As per my notes taken from our forums, red/ yellow nd red wire from the car to yellow/black and yellow/blue on the lower harness. Well did that nd no response.. Please help. Thank you.. |

Is the speed sensor from the Chassis? Whichever ECU you're using, be sure to use the appropriate speed sensor. IE S13 ECU (for the S13 Motor I'm assuming) then use an S13 Speed Sensor even with an S14 trans because the Voltage Signals are different, and it's a bolt on swap.
Assuming you have done that already, check voltages with a multimeter and refer to the FSM for where those wires are behind your dash. If none of that fixes it, you might need a new speedo.
