I have just bent my ka24de's valves due to the pin on the cam sheering off, and i was wondering due to the tax season here what i can do to either change something up or what, I am wondering about what will work with the ka24des stock transmission, and if i should just go ahead and get the head rebuilt or go ahead and do an engine swap that is built on the bottom end and the head has been rebuild by the previous owner, he put hp valves and valve seals, If there is an engine that will be a direct bolt up with the stock transmission, let me know, and your personal opinion. the price for the labor to do the valve with port and polish but the price for the new valves and valve seals is around 338 total let me know

Another KA engine will bolt up to a KA transmission...

I second this.

Also any engine you want if you can dish out the money for a adapter setup, (or CA or SR with a bell housing swap) otherwise its only a KA.
