OEM temp gauge wrong

First.. I have an s14 95.. and I change my s14 sr20 for an rb25det s2 and now my dash temp gauge was wrong when i run 180deg F on my aftermarket gauge my dash temp was at high temp.. i try a vg30 dash signal temp sensor and nothing change.. i dont want to buy an s14 ka24 dash temp sensor and get same result..

may-be someone here know witch sensor i need to get good dash gauge signal

thanks
p.s. sorry for my english haha

You can run a kA temp sensor for the guage on a rb20 and rb25. Ive done this with my rb20 in my s13 and my friends rb25 in his s13. But I Dont know if the s14 temp sensor for the gauge is a different style than the KA (SOHC), RB20 and RB25 series 1

It looks as though from pictures on the internet the temp sensor for the gauge is the same style as the older s13's. It looks like the top part of the sensor has the same type of connector. It also looks like the one on your series 2 rb25 is the same so there should be no problem with replacing the rb25 temp sensor with an s14 temp sensor meant for the original motor the car came with. After that, there should be no reason your temp gauge would not be accurate. Because you would be running a matching temp sensor and gauge. Unless there are other issues like a bad Gauge or to much resistance in the wire, not a fully bled cooling system....

Yes if you are using a S14 KA Cluster you use a S14 KA Water Temp Sensor

S13 and S14 guage senders are different. OP needs the S14 temp guage sender.
