Well Im in the market for a new (to me) car. Im looking at about 5 or 6 different cars. A 240 being one, 300 another. A friend of mine has a 89 240. 2.4L na. I like the car but he hasent had it for very long. (less then a year) I just want to know what I should expect to pay/ how bad they rust/perfromance potential/ etc,etc. I look forward to your help.

i'd pay no more than 4000 for an 89-94, the potential is great on a 240sx i think it's the best four cylinder to build up (and the SR), the worst aftermarket support (for america). if you don't mind the research, the payoff is great.

i paid 800 for my 89 240 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
expect to pay in the range from 2000 to 3500 for a good deal mine i had to replace and fix alot but it doesnt matter cause imma mechanic <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> but like whatever james said potential is great and there is support just surf and surf and surf |
