Well Im in the market for a new (to me) car. Im looking at about 5 or 6 different cars. A 240 being one, 300 another. A friend of mine has a 89 240. 2.4L na. I like the car but he hasent had it for very long. (less then a year) I just want to know what I should expect to pay/ how bad they rust/perfromance potential/ etc,etc. I look forward to your help.

i'd pay no more than 4000 for an 89-94, the potential is great on a 240sx i think it's the best four cylinder to build up (and the SR), the worst aftermarket support (for america). if you don't mind the research, the payoff is great.

expect to pay in the range from 2000 to 3500 for a good deal

mine i had to replace and fix alot but it doesnt matter cause imma mechanic <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

but like whatever james said potential is great and there is support just surf and surf and surf

Well my friend paid way too much. How relible are these cars? And what are some stock perf numbers?
