Leaking oil like a mother

1990 240sx. Today after i drove for about a half hour I got a little suspicious on my performance. Got home, checked the oil, not alot but still enough to lubricate everything. Had my buddy pick me up some and poured it in. Well I noticed she was leaking after. Took it for a drive, not its pretty much pouring out. Puddles all over but yet no oil loss!?!?!?! MAKES NO SENSE!!!! Brother-in-law took a look at it says a common problem is the oil sending unit/connector. Makes sense, thats where it is pouring from. BUT, The whole underside of my car is COVERED in oil. Im so confused!! Anyone else ever had this problem?? If so ill take any advise I can get. Thank you!!

This post is beyond confusing...

Let me try and comprehend whats going on-
- Low oil
- You went and got more, and think its still leaking, but the fluid levels are still fine?

Why dont you try cleaning the underside of your car... Then start it, and watch where it leaks from. This doesnt seem like rocket science.

Oil leak diagnosis 101^^^

How hard is it to clean the engine bay and then inspect for the leak? NOBODY is going to be able to tell you where the oil is leaking from. We're not psychic. Get off your ass and find the leak. It wouldn't hurt to use a little common sense before you post either. Well, that's assuming you have any, which is a BIG assumption at the moment...

I've had all kinds of oil leaks, so have my customers. So yes, others have had oil leaks. If you already found the leak, why post the thread? Goes back to my "common sense" statement in my last post...
