sr20 in but cant get it turnin..help!!!

i jus swap in an s13 in mah hatch and the wiring is all in...the motor is in..i had it for about 4 days.......and i cant start da dam thing.........car turnss but jus doesnt start.......so i need help...i got spark i got fuel.....the onlly thing that mite b wrong is i think the motor mite b flooded i smell gas on the spark plugs...but i tried to deal wit it and still no start.....so please all u expert sr20det cats i need help!!!!!!!i want to drive.....and drift

make sure ur fuel lines arent switched around first thing, thats what i did. feed line from filter goes to line between intake runners not regulator side. kinda suprising how easy i mixed them up cuz i remembered reading about which line goes where and i must not have been payin attention. if that doesnt work, are you positive you have spark, pull each plug and put it on the coil and ground the plug in some way, and crank the motor you should see it spark. check your fuel pump fuse too...after cranking and cranking mine kept blowing and i went through six of them before i found out that the lines were switched up. check all other fuses that could cause it not to start. so if you have spark and fuel FOR SURE. and you are positive all your wiring is right then my next guess is timing. you could sit there and move the CAS tooth by tooth until it goes but just as easily you can pop the valve cover off. line the motor up top dead center on first cylinder and line up the mating marks on the CAS and the cam gear...fsm tells pretty much what to do. lets see...you could also make sure that your ecu harness connector is connected fully, if its not, that could be a problem i spose. hope i helped.good luck.

yea i checked for spark i got that out of the way then i check for fuel.....the lines are corrected....fuse for the pump is good.it doesnt blow...i feel pressure through the lines......check wiring an harness many many times.......but timing, havent done that yet so imma do that and c wut happens......and sorry about the text i been on AIM all day so i type as quik as i can and it tends to b a lil wierd and .....but thanks guys for the help any more info and input from any one is great.... i been workin on this thing for 4 days jus watchin mah babie sit there when i can b drivin this orange thang around naw mean......and the urge to drive and drift is unbearable if u guys kno wut i mean so help a drifter out@!!!!!! but im goin to check the timing...thanks for everyones info...............=)drift safe but drift scared.......the more ur scared the siker the moves@!!!!

:hammer: Oh man they cut you up really bad, you really do have to be more specific when you try to post on here, I have learned that, proper sentencing equals proper response, and yeah it is your CAS timing and or the plug that goes into it, I just recently got my sr running and the whole fucking time the plug going into the CAS was backwards of the way I put it in so the right little solenoid on the CAS wasn't lined up to the right wire so I found in the sr manual that the plug had to be turned around 180 degrees, done good to go she started right up. Good luck with that man.
