![]() So I bought this thing a while back and never did get it working. Could never get the right wires or anything but now I'm so close but so far from getting it. So I got the right ground and power wires then I hooked up the yellow to the CAS 180 degrees and the green wire to the CAS 1 degree, start the car, change the rev 1 and gain and nothing happens just acts like it's not installed and there's no lights or anything. So I switch the green and yellow wires around, start the car, move the knobs and as soon as I touch the gain knob right away the car dies. If you try to start it then it won't start back up will just keep cranking until the gain is set back to 0 which turns the unit off then right away it will start back up until you touch the gain again.
Anyone have a clue what is going on? Am I connecting it to the right wires or is there another sort of problem somewhere? According to this diagram I currently have the: Ground - pin 48 Power - pin 47 Yellow - switching between 22 and 31 and have also tried using 30 and 40 Green - switching between 22 and 31 and have also tried using 30 and 40 ![]() Last edited by Jersthecool; 05-06-2013 at 12:57 AM.. |

My bad they're on the right way I just accidentally put them wrong on here. I've also tried a few different things that I've read that people have got to work and none worked for me. Connecting yellow wire to #3 pin "tach signal output" and green to 22 no luck, then green to 31 no luck, then green to both and car wouldn't start. Then green to #3 pin and switching the yellow around then one time it finally started and it sounded like a subaru and was dumping smoke out at idle running super rich. So I've still had no luck with anything yet.

stupid question : did you try using the input on ebrake or switch... and testing it like that ?
I had mine installed way back so dont remember much but i remember i had problems with wiring because zenki engine swap but car is kouki something like that so thats where my issues where. I know for a fact they need a good ground so use the one on the car itself (Panel) used main ground not the one in the ecu loom. hope it works out... Ground can be a b*tch .. |

Nope haven't even hooked up the ebrake switch/ground yet wanted to get the regular one working first but yeah I'll definitely try that, ground it directly to the frame somewhere instead of just the tiny ecu wire hopefully that works. I'll report back my results later today.

That was all there was to it for me ... the ground screwed me up... Tearing wires apart while it was just a ground... i put my 2 step low so i coulve test it easier!

That's crazy Jake I'm hoping that's all it is because I don't understand why it won't work with the wires everyone is using.
Same thing Drftwhore I've used those exact same wires as stated in my OP and no luck so I'm definitely gonna check the ground and go from there. |
