car is bogging down random times..??

Hey guys,

Need input. I have a 1990 240sx that I recently purchased. Car is bogging down at different times when Im driving. Im not "getting on it" or racing anyone. Just driving around town and car will just lose power and about 3 seconds later come back on like nothing happened. What could this be? Bad fuel pump cutting on and off? fuel injector seal? bad ignition? Keep this in mind fellas. The car acts as if it cuts off. The accessories still stay on. But, there's no sputtering or anything. Acts as if the key was turned to the off position on the ignition. It's got me scratching my head. I do smell a bit of gasoline come through the engine bay. I dont forsee this being a clogged fuel filter...as it doesnt sputter along... just straight cuts out for a few seconds. Your help is appreciated. And what's the best place online to buy parts...or places....? thank you in advance.

ps-spark plugs, rotor inside distributor?, fuel pump?

My S14 is doing something similar. It finally threw code 21, which is ignition signal. It only does it when it hits a good size bump or when I brake hard. The car just dies, but if I have any momentum, it starts right back up. If I brake hard to a full stop, I have to restart the car. I'm thinking it must be a loose connection somewhere. I still have to hunt it down. It's either wiring and/or connectors to the distributor, or the distributor itself.
