sr20 wiring question

i just purchased an SR here from a guy locally
full motor swap came with a harness already for an s13 single cam chassis
the motor is a s13 redtop, the harness isnt in the best shape as it was a DIY job gone wrong but i guess it works.

so my question is will this work with my dual cam s13 chassis and also iam planning on keeping my A/C and buying a cody ace bracket.
what would be best for me to do? buy a new harness something from wiring specialties or keep the harness i have or go to a local shop?

It's hard to say if the AC will have power or be activated as the actual wiring does vary a little bit depending on who actually wired the car.

From a friend of mine who did AC in a SOHC car with redtop:
Quote:
"Everything else I did is pretty much out there...ECU pinouts were spot on, except that everywhere mentions pin 10 as being for AC. It isn't listed as doing anything on the 180 schematic, and it isn't doing anything on our car. Just pin 106 from the AC relay which supplies a ground for the relay, and 41 to the control box from plug F3 located above the passenger kick panel. "
As far as everything else, it will bolt up just fine when using one of my brackets. PM me at anytime for more info, or go to the website CodyAce SR20 Air Conditioning Bracket Thanks!

Hey man, not sure if you chose which route your were going to take about your harness. My suggestion is if the harness is in rough shape like you said, you should replace it. Based off of our previous experiences and the golden rule "do it right the first time", you would be better off so that your not chasing down more potential issues in the future. If you dont want to replace it we can offer you a rebuild kit to clean yours up a bit.

This.

I'm not driving my car because i don't trust my wiring 100%. Even though i know i soldered everything correctly i still rather save up and buy a new wiring specialties harness.
