After finally attempting to do the gt5 editor im really having fun. i actually havent played this game for some time and when i found out about the editor i wanted to have some fun !

mainly i just used it to have some cars that usually arent available in wingless to convert them.



Also did some other wingless conversions but havent taken photos.

I've seen some people able to have a hoodless car and it actually show the engine bay and everything. i tried it on a couple cars and it would just be a void all the way through to the ground.

For the most part my cars arent fast haha i leave the stock motors in them. i only do the editor for cosmetic stuff.. but ill check out some of your cars !

OMG! Perfect! I didn't like all the hacking at first because of all the outlandish power mods made completely undriveable cars...

But I would definitiely be interested in some of these cosemetic only or mild swaps...

Is the editor hard to use?

Yes i know what you mean !!! i have a mazda FD with a 787B simply because i love the sound for the 787B over the sound of the rotory in the factory production rx7's

The s13 has a 2jz swap in it.


There are actually alot of GT5 editors but some of them ( from my personal experience ) did not work completely.

For the most part if you have a flash drive you can edit a car.

you have to get in the desired car you want to modify, the editor i use works best if you upgrade the transmission,tires to racing soft, and suspension to the highest mod and thats it.

If you want no wing, go to the gt auto and apply the highest level aftermarket wing.

Then youll go to save the game, exit, save the data onto your flash drive, plug it into your computer and depending on the gt5 editor you have you can upload the car into the program and edit as you please.

then you just copy from the flash drive to the ps3 ( over writing the ps3's data ) and start the game and the mods should be applied when you enter the gt auto.

Its sort of a long process just for one car. but its well worth it. If you wanna open a room ill show you some of the cars.

But I think I also will give the editor a try though. Maybe have a little more fun with this game before 6 drops in a few months...

Yeah i literally havent played this game for months until i tried the editor and i love it now. just fun...

Unfortunately the editor i use does not allow me to make the cars have better fitment. the one i use only allows hacking the downforce, suspension camber etc. but i cant find a way to widen the stance to fit the fender wells better.

Also though there are many editors that people use. some people actually can put complete different chassis under the body of the desired car. so for instance there is someone ive seen put a full race car chassis on a basic camaro body. which changed the fitment. i personally didnt have the editor work the way i wanted so i downloaded another one.

GT6 drops on 12/6 and I'm still regularly playing GT5! Here's the car list starting with the 124 new additions!

Finally getting my Genesis coupe! But I wish it was the turbo version. And I wish some of those M3's would get dropped for a 335is and a Z4 35i sdrive.

Pretty excited after following up on GTPlanet regularly. Things look vastly improved in terms of menu UI, physics, sound, tunability, etc.

most tragic thing happened to me. my PS3 died. I cant afford a new one or a PS4 right now.
I went to several repair places and it's gonna cost me 100-150. gdi.
And I have GT6 locked in and waiting. GDIGDIGDI.
I am going to be incredibly sad if i miss GT6 launch because I have never missed a GT launch.

Funny you say that, I know 3 guys that their PS3's broke a week before, or the day of the PS4 launch. Coincidence, I think not.

This is my second PS3. It's sad. I'm still going to try avoiding buying a PS4 at this time.

^^^There are some youtube videos on different editors. Basically, you save your game data to a flashdrive, load it onto you PC and manipulate the data with one of the editors available online for download.

I had a friend who was doing this back on GT3 & GT4. It's fun for a while.

But I think I'm just gonna get GT6, enjoy the hell out of it and that's it for me. I'm getting the XBox One and don't see any reason to snag a PS4 since the only exclusive I care about is the too-slowly evolving Turismo. I guess I'll have to get over my distaste for Forza eventually.

I have no distaste for Forza. I'm just a GT loyal so I'll stick to GT.

I do have some complaints about GT6 already seeing what's being released now...
GT you seem to have gotten your act together as compared to GT5 but do some cleaning please.

I don't know if it's from the lack of satisfaction from GT5 or I'm just older, but my excitement isn't as big as it used to be with the prior titles.

Let's hope I'm pleasantly surprised with the experience.

For me, GT5 fizzled in the excitement department because my friends who had played GT all previous generations didn't make the jump to PS3. Online play is great, but racing strangers all the time gets old.

GT5 almost missed the mark for me. It was tickling my interest because of the Online features. It was fun to drift/grip with killer, simmode, teddy, boost, and whomever else was part of the group in the early stages.

My excitement was at all time high for GT2 and I think it still is. I occasionally pull that one back out and go drifting in it because the grip feature throws me off switching from GT5 to GT2 and then back to GT5.

Ummm... we still have Standard cars?! WTF. Looks like the exact same thing I've been playing for the past 4 years. I'm gonna need someone to show me some fresh content or I'm gonna be skipping this one.

The game is nice. I don't know why you would expect it to be leaps and bounds different. It's the same system. The handling seems better to me. The new tracks are fun. The wheels could be better. But you have your advan rg2, blitz brw, various rays/volk/gram light, prodrive, enkie, oz, BBS then a bunch of pointless ones like boyd codington lol. I am only in national B of career mode. But I like it so far. Stock s13 silvia dia selection seems to be doing well for me so far to this point. The setup is a little different. The new gtr time trial on silverstone has been the hardest race for me so far. If you are a gt fan, you should like it. I got the gamestop edition with the 25 cars, avatars, racing suit/helmet and paint etc.

All in all, so far I like it. If you are into graphics, you shouldn't even be playing a console system lol as they all suck major ass.
