It's the rocker arms. You're fine.

They sell rocker arms stoppers if the ticking bothers you. Do you hear it inside the cockpit or when you have the hood propped open? Can you make a video?

Well the breather falling off would not cause a ticking sound.
But try listening to the car with it idling and if you hear the tick noise, push in the clutch... Did it go away? If so it's clutch chatter not the head.

Oh my lord i just listened to your video, I wouldnt risk running the car any more without being afraid of permanent damage, it sounds like hell.

Try popping off the valve cover and see what is making contact.
Did you rev the engine past 8k?

Your valve train looks horrible! I'd clean that just because!
Now here's what you need to do, take your finger nail and run it across the cam lobes. Is there a lip on either side of the lobes, where the rockers arms sit? If so get new cams, problem fixed, I'd also have the head hot tanked and bathe all hardware. You probably starved the head of oil.
Tip: change your oil, and filter more frequently!
