Winter Jam.... Could have been better.

Saturday went ok. Just a skidpad practice day. Almost got annihilated a couple of times. I hate used tires.

Sunday practice was going pretty well. Entry speeds were seriously fast. Easily 10-15 mph faster than I managed last year with my SR and probably the fastest out of anyone.

Qualifying came around and I dropped the clutch to do a burnout and my axle decided that it didn't like to spin 265's anymore and exploded. It decided to take out the rear traction rod when that happened and I didn't have a spare. I ran home and got parts but it took to long and qualifying was over by the time I got back.

It was built (body wise) by the owner before Rapper Dan so the build on that is kind of a mystery. I know that a lot of the truck section is from a Chevy S10.

Yea I'm really happy to be working with him again. Straight up guy who really knows the ins and outs of the FD rule book and how to build a solid car.

just read the whole build thread... was so excited cause the green car just kept getting more and more gangster.. then you buy a new car. oh well. truck is dope as hell and all that really matters is that you enjoy it!

I guess I can explain. This has always been my plan. People get so sentimental with cars (me included) that I kind of wanted to keep it a secret but everyone can see where this is going.

I bought this car for the motor set. I drove it as is for a couple of events just to see how he drove it and I definitely liked my setup better. I am taking a few key pieces like both front and rear subframes, all the wiring and everything to do with the motor.

Fear not the truck will not be cut up. I've put all stock suspension back on it and it will be sold as a rolling chassis with TONS of prep. It'll just need suspension and a motor.

Yea drift only. Cut wheel wells is kind of industry standard.

Took another pic at home. This is seriously boner city over here.

Here is a up close shot of the paint. Gold flake!! I feel like I'm on a 1970 speed boat every time I open my hood.

I also started working on the dual caliper set up.
