yuck. had that shit before. tastes like banana bread initially, then tastes like shit after the first few sips.

dude, double bastard is ridiculously loaded with hops...... but still very delish..... look out for double bastard with dark toasted oak.... one of my favorites....

i said "taste" overloaded with hops lol. Every other beer of theirs i've had tasted like an ipa, even if it wasn't. This one definitely didn't.

The banana bread beer should be half and half with the double chocolate stout. For New Years the wife got me some beers from Japan. Started with this Hitachino Nest White great taste very clean after almost like a dry hop finish. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1388593196.134628.jpg then I had the DaiDai IPA from Hitachino just a plan og style IPA not over hopped. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1388593319.851724.jpg had the commemorative ale 2014. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1388593363.235932.jpg and finished off the night with a handful of the Hitachino Nest XH sake cask beer. And yes it is a great as it sounds had a light sweet after taste. ^I love stouts but youngs taste very watered down, my fav till this day is Serpentine Stout by Lost Abbey

Tried Firestone Walker XVII Anniversary ale over NYE... Bit pricey ($25per bottle) but it was a really nice beer. Reminds me of bourbon/whiskey washed down with other sweets, goes down real smooth. Its a heavy dark beer so 1 beer got me a good buzz. 9/10 for me

After trying the hopslam I have to say it was awesome! A very smooth IPA and a bit different from all the others.

Just had "La Fin Du Monde" golden ale. incredible tart finish, not heavy in the stomach, 9.0%ABV fruity aroma. I'd give it 5 stars if I could remember my untapped password.

Right now I'm trying to stomach Lagunitas Cappucino Stout. Think Guiness, with a stronger end bite. 2.5 stars.

Nice coffee taste with a slight dark chocolate finish.
