Power Steering Loop with Reservoir

Hey guys, my pump was pretty much shot on my SR so I decided to loop the power steering lines. However, instead of just looping at the rack, I took the return line straight from the reservoir, bypassing the pump, to the rack. So this way I can top off the reservoir and make sure the rack has fluid still.

Anything wrong with doing it this way? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1398527376.847140.jpg

Why the face palm? Just asking if there's anything wrong with leaving the reservoir still connected when looping. Usually people don't. That's why I'm asking.

Sorry if I'm still learning, not everyone was born knowing everything like you were apparently.

What he is trying to say is that no matter what you are going to have a hard time driving with a full reservoir if there is nothing to pump it... loop it from the steering rack if you are trying to fix it later if not just bend those suckered and roll with no power steering like a boss

Thank you for the straightforward answer. I guess I was thinking if I just looped it I wouldn't be able to go back and keep it full of fluid. This way when I do go back and put a new pump in I can throw in a stainless line to replace the old one and the reservoir is still installed. Thanks again.
