Unhappy Rebuilt top end of my sr20det, now won't start!

Ok, I just got this 89 240sx with an sr20det installed. The guy that owned it before me broke off 5 out of 8 of the exhaust mani studs and didn't tell me about it. He covered it up with gasket sealer! The gasket searler didn't last the 10 hour ride home from buying it. After 4 days the leak was so bad the turbo would barely spool! I pulled the head and have it machined, pressure checked, and hot tanked. I put eveything back in with a new metal headgasket, apr head bolts, etc... I started it up and the timing was way off. The car wouldn't run unless I had my foot on the gas. It stalled out and wouldn't start again. I came home and read up on how to properly time the sr20, then went back to the garage. When I went to pull my cam angle sensor out, I noticed that the harness wasn't actually cliped on, so I figured that thats the reason that it stalled. I set the timing according to how the fsm says to. While the cam angle sensor was out of the car, I bumped it and it fell on the cement floor of my garage . Now the car still won't start! I went over evey bolt and harness like 10 times now and can't figure it out! Did I maybe break the CAS when I knocked it on the ground, or is my problem more serious than that? Any ideas?
Thanks for your help,
Jesse

Is the ecu throwing any codes when you run the diagnostic?

I didn't use a scan tool on anything on the ecu yet, but the check engine light isn't on.

well the cas is wat tells the ecu to tell the coils to fire, you said the plug was on wrong? if thats the case try to put it on the opposite way, also check all the teeth on it make sure nothin is chipped or ne thing cuz u dont want that messin with ur exhaust gears n wat not inside the block, see if your gettin spark, pull all the plugs out n test em 1 by one, get a volt meter and see if the cas actually has voltage, the fsm should tell u wat each prong should be, i think between prong 1 and 2 the voltage should fluctuate between 5 volts n .1volts, also have it grounded, but might need a schematic cuz its gona fluctuate really fast i dont think the volt meter can handle it, um other than that, make sure theres no bites in your harness anywhere, pull your injectors make sure your sprayin, other than that i duno lete me know how it goes, i hope this helps.

Alright, I'll have to try all that. The plug is in the CAS the correct way, but I think I might have broken it since I dropped it. How fragle is the CAS? It did run at first until the plug lost contact because it wasn't clicked in all the way. After that I timed it, and thats when I found out it wouldn't start again. I don't think anything else would have gone bad by timing it, because that was teh only sensor I had to remove.
It is getting spark, but it was really weak looking.

well its really a fragile piece to your motor, might be getting bad ground, i mean are all the prongs still in good shape on the piece itself, also inspect all the teeth on it other than maybe sumtin inside the actual sensor got messed up when it fell i dunno, chekc it all out.
