Few rb questions

So i recently picked up a drop in rb20 swap, motor was shown nice and healthy being run and everything before it was pulled. Well i was told the trans had some trouble shifting into 1/2 and figured it needed a new set of syncros. Well upon pulling it apart i found that one of the shift arms is broken and one of the smaller gears(Not syncro) are broken in multiple pieces. Is this trans pretty much a paperweight at this point? Also the motor did not come with power steering as it was deleted as soon as the PO bought it. I read that you can use the ka24de hicas pump, would i need to use the power steering bracket from the rb aswell? Or can i use the ka one? What are my options for power steering?

Thanks for the help,
Dakota

RB20 trans is pretty much a KA trans...I $100-200 tops.

As far as powersteering, I'm using my KA DOHC pump after modding the PS bracket on my RB25.

I did read that, but the only thing i had a problem with is then i need a custom drive shaft and to hack apart my car. I really wish someone had the measurements on the guts or a rb trans and an ka trans guts side by side. Im planning on stuffing the ka components into my rb bellhousing and tail end housing if i can.
