My turbo has had a smoking problem for about 2 weeks now, then last night it started making a sizzling noise, like dumping water on the manifold, still not sure what it is, but now the turbo is not spooling at all. I know its crazy but would it be okay to drive my car?? I still have to get to work and back untill i can get time to fix my car. plus if anybody knows anybody i need a new turbo, t25-t28 nothing crazy because im just getting tired of spending money on this car

one of my friends had the same problemly and he drove it with a bad turbo and pretty soon after it messed up his motor pretty bad.......but then again i have another friend whos turbo has been smoking pretty bad for the last 5 weeks and he still drives it everyday,,,,i dont know were u live but there are places that can rebuilt turbos pretty cheep...im in richmond va and my friend got his t3/t4 rebuilt for 180.00......just look in your phone book for a place, or you can always look online for a turbo repair shop
